This weekend I am attending the Annual Meeting of the North American Rock Garden Society being nurse in Santa Fe , New Mexico . Having never been to either Santa Fe or even New Mexico for that issue , I discovering why so many artists and originative people bang this city . It ’s unequalled Pueblo way architecture with adobe brick and stucco is astonishing , not to mention the food for thought , the people , the atmospheric condition and the chilly ’s .
As some of you already know , I am so proud to have been elect as the new president of NARGS this weekend , and I am so unrestrained to have been both nominated and elected into this two year terminal figure with such a well-thought-of plant mathematical group as the North American Rock Garden Society . In many agency , I finger so un qualified as there are many expert gardeners more certified than I , as the membership includes some of of the fine botanists and plant life enthusiasts of any plant group , but I sympathize the mission at hand – revitalizing , re - energising and perhaps reinventing a group of voguish , passionate and dedicated plant people and leading the way for a brighter future . Something many plant lodge will need to address in the coming twelvemonth . I can not make many big promise , but I can and will tell the rank that I will do my very good to prompt and add a positive free energy to the group .
The adobe computer architecture in and around Santa Fe keeps authentic , much like part of New England .
