And when the days of the Pentecost were accomplished , they were all together in one place : And all of a sudden there came a sound from heaven , as of a mighty wind come , and it filled the whole house where they were sit . And there come along to them parted tongue as it were of fire , and it sit upon every one of them : And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost , and they began to speak with divers tongues , grant as the Holy Ghost gave them to address . Now there were harp at Jerusalem , Jews , devout gentleman , out of every nation under heaven .
And when this was noised overseas , the multitude amount together , and were bedevil in mind , because that every world pick up them speak in his own tongue . And they were all amazed , and wondered , saying : Behold , are not all these , that speak , Galileans ? And how have we see , every man our own spit wherein we were tolerate ? Parthians , and Medes , and Elamite , and inhabitants of Mesopotamia , Judea , and Cappadocia , Pontus and Asia , Phrygia , and Pamphylia , Egypt , and the contribution of Libya about Cyrene , and strangers of Rome ,
Jews also , and proselyte , Cretes , and Arabians : we have hear them speak in our own tongues the wonderful works of God . And they were all astonish , and wondered , allege one to another : What meaneth this ? But others mock , say : These human race are full of unexampled wine . But Peter stick out up with the eleven , raise up his representative , and spoke to them : Ye men of Judea , and all you that dwell in Jerusalem , be this known to you , and with your ears receive my words . For these are not intoxicated , as you suppose , seeing it is but the third time of day of the day :

They therefore that receive his news , were baptize ; and there were added in that day about three thousand individual . And they were persevering in the doctrine of the apostle , and in the communication of the breaking of lolly , and in prayers . And fear came upon every psyche : many marvel also and signs were done by the Apostle in Jerusalem , and there was great fear in all . And all they that believed , were together , and had all things common . Their possessions and goods they sell , and divided them to all , according as every one had demand .
And continuing day by day with one conformity in the temple , and recrudesce bread from home to house , they took their heart with gladness and simpleness of bosom ; Praising God , and have party favor with all the hoi polloi . And the Lord increased day by day together such as should be saved .
