The pallet markers are a swell way to add a little social club and pastime to the garden paths
We have used pallet woodwind and the left over barn wood from the two barns we tore down to do just about everything . This past workweek – Mary came up with one more large idea . We want a way to differentiate the various rows of our gardens – mainly for appearance and to help identify flora and rows for visitant to the farm .
It was actually a dewy-eyed labor .

The pallet markers are a great way to add a little order and interest to the garden paths
A quick sanding of the board and a little paint – and the signs were quick to go
We still have a comely amount of the barn wood left over – including a lot of pocket-sized 24 to 36 slat and floor piece . We trimmed them all down to be about 3″ wide by 20″ long – and then supply a wide-eyed rounded breaking ball on each end with a jigsaw before stenciling in the names of our plant rows . We then pre - drilled a twain of holes on each end . Th
en then drove 3/4″ x 18″ stake into the ground . After that – we attach the painted boards to the stakes with some cheap course grim drywall screws ( We figure if they corrode a niggling it will just bestow character ) and we were finish !

A quick sanding of the boards and a little paint – and the signs were ready to go
The markers all up and in the garden – we just attached them to a mere minor stake and drive them in the ground
The result – a creative way to identify our garden with unique star sign – created for free from our hoard of old barn woods ! We thought about sum up a clear-cut pelage to the polarity , but figured it was best to get them course fade and bleach with the Lord’s Day . All in all , a great way to use up some more of the Mrs. Henry Wood and not have to spend a dime on signage for the garden . It read us about 2 hour to make and paint the 25 or so sign – and 15 min to put them up .
