Bulbs, bulbs, and more bulbs!

Cherry Ong is taking us along to see saltation atButchart Gardensin British Columbia . This garden is notable for over - the - top display ofspring bulbsandannuals , which paint the whole space with giant swath of semblance . One of the most iconic piece of the garden is the sink garden , and often we see exposure take from the ground above , looking down at the plants . But today Cherry is accept us down into the garden and looking up and around at the beauty to be find there .

Coordinated swaths of tulip ( Tulipahybrids , Zones 3–8 ) and late daffodils ( Narcissushybrids , Zones 3–8 ) blossom together . The tulip in front are underplanted with forget - me - not ( Myosotissylvatica , Zones 3–8 ) to add a layer of blue around the larger tulip flower .

Here the colors are raging , with the beds in the foreground underplanted with English daisy ( Bellisperennis , Zones 4–8 ) in pinkish and red . They sum up a bed of colour even when the light bulb in the bed are not in flower .
