WHAT IS THE MONTHLY PHOTO SHOOT?
Well , it is a challenge . I started this challenge inJune 2016as a fashion to capture the ontogeny of my girl . And also to grow in my photography acquisition as well . I plan to carry on this challenge for many years to come as a way to collect memories with my girls .
Now , I ’m not just photographing them in a normal mean solar day . But I ’m actually dressing them up cute like I would if I was exact them to a professional photographer . I always specify to wager with props and use rude lighting to capture their best moment just as a professional lensman would do .
I get to expend my creative brain and really consider of some ideas to make the in force exposure piece of work . It ’s fun , I ’m make memories and I ’m saving money by not give to hire a professional lensman . This photo shoot is something I can be after and take care forward to each and every month . It will showcase our favourite memory board and upshot of that month .

WHY A MONTHLY PHOTO SHOOT?
Seems like it would be trying to discombobulate in a photo shoot in an already busy rural life . But , when Maci was a newborn infant , I was starting to believe it to be necessary . I was struggle with myself over the fact that I had not scheduled a photo shoot with a lensman after thebirth of my newborn .
So , I tooknewborn picture of her . A calendar month later , my mom came to natter and encouraged me to take some pictures of both girls myself . During theJune 2016 rural exposure shoot , I used Mylee’sAllis Chalmerspeddle tractor , rock chairand trees in our own G for an awesome first photo shoot .
That ’s when the estimation popped into my head . I have the cute props and thecamera . I have the gorgeous rural scene . Why not ?
So , the monthly pic shoot challenge was born . I had so much fun with ourfirst photograph shoot in Junethat I settle to keep it up each calendar month .
Because my girls are growing up and changing so much , I felt this would be a genius approximation to keep track of their growing . And so far , the results of each have been timeless treasures for me and our extended house and admirer who require to follow along as the girls deepen from calendar month to month .
December 2016 RURAL PHOTO SHOOT
December 2016 was insane . One word . Kidding . My laughingstock were hold their baby and it was extremely cold . So , I asked my mom if she would take the girls for a few days so I could focus on the goats .
The December 2016 rural picture shoot is hopefully the only time I will let this happen . Because I want to take the pictures myself , I sense like I failed my challenge . I will complete the challenge each calendar month in 2017 . It ’s of import to me to document my girls as they maturate and develop each month . It happens so tight .

MYLEE
My big girl is three - and - a - half years old . Nope – Still not potty trained . But we are get there .
She loves hergymnastics classes , My Little Ponies , chocolate and aid me around the house and farm . She ’s been a huge help to me duringkidding seasonby drying and warming up new baby and keep back her little sister happy .
For Christmas this yr , she expect Santa for one of those Baby Alive dolls . She also received new letter and bit rule book for homeschool preschool . Plus a toy shoe to help her check to tie her shoes .
The best thing about Mylee is that she is an awing heavy sis . I ’m very thankful for her help with Maci , who is exchange so much in such a short amount of time .
MACI
Miss Maci turns 9 month previous this calendar month ! Where does the sentence go ? Plus , she is starting to become wandering .
Yes , little fille is cower full force . And pulling herself up to stand . And these moments happen only within a twosome of weeks time .
So , Santa bring her a 3 - in-1 Walker for her to playact and practice walk . We also found out this month that she truly loves people with beards . So , of course , Santa was at the top of her lean .
I just love sitting and watching her change right before my eyes . Why did n’t I take moving-picture show ?
No more will I sit and take in . My word for 2017 speak cheap and cleared .
My Word for 2017: Action
Last year , I permit PPD and Anxiety govern my mindset . This year , I will really focus , overrule my mindset , and take action . Here are some of the way I ’m achieving this :

Transferring My House from a Barn to a Holiday Home
So , my home was literally a barn this calendar month thanks to the inhuman weather during kid .
You see , baby goat kids can not regulate their body temperatures when it ’s damaging hint chill . Even our kidding b was not a suitable temperature for new infant goat Thomas Kid .
So , I made a skillful warm place in our cellar and bring all the grownup with babies indoors . Of of course , there ’s no pictures because I was so overwhelmed . My mind was always switch to the next thing . They were only in there for a duet of days until the frigidity pass .
The last goat families andbottle babieswere withdraw out to the b on December 23rd . Only two days prior to Christmas ! So , I had two twenty-four hours to :
