These photos are from early this summertime – before the incredibly hot , miserable weather moved into our area . I would share picture of the garden this crepuscule except it wait middling raggedy because it was too hot for me to keep up with it like I usually do ! Now that it ’s cool down , I ’m working on moving things around , getting rid of plants that ca n’t take the heating , and generally adjudicate to make the borders prosperous to manage for . Most of these photos are the garden borders around our pool . Theoakleaf hydrangea(Hydrangea quercifolia , Zones 4–8)is in the wooded expanse at the back of our property . The oakleaf hydrangea that Beth mention in her introduction . While it ’s light to explain to non - gardeners how interesting plants can be for their beauty and function , it ’s can be a little harder to express the vestal wonder in seeing a plant life grow and evolve . If you grow anything from seed or very small starters , you know it ’s one of the most magical things you could do in the garden .

More peak getting a bee visitor . This meter spires of lavender flowers line in bees with their intoxicating scent just as well as they suck up in world !
