check andJoanna Gainesare known for theirhome renovation mode , but the Silos at Magnolia offers more than just home goods . Joanna has author three cookbooks , so it ’s no surprisal there are unbelievable eats at Magnolia — and I tried as many as I could conform to into my two - day trip-up to the Silos . I grabbed breakfast at the bakery , an iced seasonal caffe latte at Magnolia Press , and savored a cinnamon roller that was so good , I ’m still think about it weeks later .

From decadent bake good to seasonal deep brown drinks , these are all the food for thought I adjudicate at Magnolia — along with my prescribed ranking , so you be intimate exactly what ’s worth ordering . Spoiler alert : One item was so skilful it earned an 11 out of 10 !
Orange Cream Cupcake
Ranking:9/10
Where to find it : The Silos Baking Co.
The Silos Baking Co. is known for their classics , but they also have a rotating seasonal card fill with interesting flavors . I was shoot between the Orange Cream Cupcake and the Strawberry Lemonade Cupcake , but I call in the bakery in the middle of summer , so a creamsicle - inspired treat seemed like a no - brainer . ( Plus , my coworker Clairerecently tried all the cupcake flavorsat Magnolia and rant about this one ! ) The vanilla extract buttercream icing really does taste like the inside of a creamsicle — except this treat wo n’t melt into a puddle in the summer heat . My only complaint about it was the patty - to - frosting ratio . The icing was incredible , but the orange bar was somehow even better . It ’s a good , stalwart patty filled with piece of zippy orange tree zest that was just tart enough to complement the sweetness of the icing absolutely .

Classic Cinnamon Roll
Ranking:11/10
This sweet cinnamon pastry top with cream high mallow glaze is hands - down the best cinnamon roll I ’ve ever eaten ( sorry , mom ! ) . The roll is exactly what you ’d expect : Fluffy , cinnamony dough that ’s perfectly soft without being soggy — which has to be some sort of bakehouse magic , because there was great deal of ice on top . The cream cheese glaze is slightly sourish , which brings out the tang of the dough and cinnamon . It ’s emphatically big enough to share , but it ’s so serious you wo n’t want to ! This was my favourite matter I tried at Magnolia , so I give it a 10/10 — though I ’d give it an 11 if I could !
Peach Matcha Latte
Ranking:8/10
Where to detect it : Magnolia Table and Magnolia Press Coffee Co.
It was 105 degree the day I visited Magnolia , so by the time I roll into the Magnolia Press Coffee Co. , I was looking for something moth-eaten and refreshing . The Peach Matcha Latte is the seasonal special at both the coffee tree shop and the Magnolia Table restaurant , so I was definitely scheme . This one was a flake of a wild identity card pick for me ; I like matcha , but I do n’t unremarkably order it . If you ’re on the fencing about trying it , I definitely recommend ordering it . This beverage was perfectly summery without being too cherubic , and altogether hit the spot on a hot day .

Blueberry Muffin Crumble
Ranking:7/10
I love to make the blueberry muffins from Joanna Gaines’Magnolia Tablecookbook , so I had to track down an bona fide interlingual rendition while I was at Magnolia . These taste pretty alike , although I ’d argue they taste even easily when you do n’t have to make them yourself . The muffin itself is ace buttery and fluffy , while the crumble top tastes like my grandma ’s shortbread cookies . The topping is melt - in - your - mouth sweet , which is unadulterated if you wish a cherubic breakfast item . I give this one an 8.5/10 for tasting , but a 7/10 overall because it ’s super messy .
Elderflower and Rose Lemonade
If you ’re in search of a tasty drink , I ’d definitely recommend Magnolia Press for all affair chocolate and lattes , but the bakehouse does have a few drink options as well . The bakery bid two variations of elderflower lemonade ( regular and rose ) , so I had to see what the hoopla was about . I was already attempt plenty of sweet affair , so I decided on the rose flavor , recollect it might be more refreshing on a hot day . I did love it , but it was a bit too flowered tasting for me . Next metre , I ’ll probably skip this one .
Pimento Cheese Dip
Ranking:10/10
Where to find it : The Brasserie at Hotel 1928
So this one is n’t technically from any of the Magnolia property , but it was so skilful I had to include it anyway . I had dinner at The Brasserie at Hotel 1928 — the gorgeous boutique hotel Chip and Joanna renovated onFixer Upper : The Hotel — and every bite was unbelievable . Even though it was an starter , this pimento high mallow dip was the star of the show . Insanely creamy , savory , and tangy all at once , the cheese dip on the accompanying ultra - crisp firecracker was one of the best things I ’ve ever ordered at a restaurant . ( If you do dine there , range the Orange Creamsicle Ice Box Cake for dessert — sogood ! )
